If you’ve ever thought about running for local elected office, plan to attend the Greeley Chamber of Commerce Candidate Academy on April 19. Join us from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Aims Community College to hear from political experts on the nuts and bolts of running for office. You’ll learn about putting together a campaign team and campaign fundraising. Find out about marketing strategies and the deadlines and regulations you’ll have to meet. Most importantly, our speakers will give you the “why” of seeking public office. This program is also appropriate for members of your campaign team if you’ve already made the decision to run.
We’ll focus on the offices of Greeley City Council, Greeley Evans School District 6 School Board, and Aims Community College Trustee. The evening will conclude with breakout sessions detailing each office.
